Catherine L. Klaus

78, of Carlinville, died Thursday, March 4, 2010 at her residence.
She was born Friday, June 19, 1931 in Hagaman, IL, the Daughter of James and Zoa (Hall) Robinson.

She married George Eldon Klaus at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Carlinville on June 8, 1957.

Catherine graduated from Carlinville High School and St. John's School of Nursing in Springfield. Catherine served as a Registered Nurse at hospitals in Jacksonville, Carlinville and St. John's Hospital in Springfield.

She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church. She enjoyed her grandchildren and great-granddaughter.

Survivors: Daughters, Linda Pesko (Kevin) of Belleville,and Diane Klaus of Springfield; Granddaughters, Heather Klaus (Fiancé Mark Lomelino), Lauren Pesko, and Brittany Pesko; and great-granddaughter Kasey Zoa Lomelino.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Eldon on January 10, 2000.

Funeral Information

Friends may call from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M., Sunday, March 7 at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville, IL.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, March 8, 2010 at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home with Rev. John C. Bettmann officiating.

She will be laid to rest next to her husband in the Garden of Valor at Mayfield Memorial Park Cemetery in Carlinville.
